Orange Beach Baby Photographers | Sneak Peek ;-)
January 31, 2010More coming soon……

More coming soon……

Karys has a first birthday coming up REALLY SOON … So mom and dad had me design them a birthday invitation around her cupcake theme… I think it turned out adorable…Â but then again I am biased ;-)

Ya know….. I will never get tired of photographing these two sisters. I started photographing them about a year ago, when Karys was a newborn. I have watched them grow and loved every minute of it. Karys has blossomed into the one of the most happy babies I have seen, and Miss Raegan is the most friendly and beautiful little girl I know. I hope mom and dad realize how lucky they are… you have two amazing daughters ;-) Karys is turning 1 very soon so mom and dad wanted to get some pics of her with her first birthday cake. Aren’t their outfits just gorgeous, yes this the sewing mom I talk about ;- ) Her outfits are AMAZING !!!!! These are outfits she made especially for the birthday girl.

This one of Karys is my favorite….. and look at that yummy sunlight behind her ;-)

These are my favorite of Raegan, She is so herself when Daddy is playing with her.

Karys was so careful with her cake ;-)

I think each session I have with the girls is better than the last…. I truly do love getting to know them and watch them grow and flourish into the wonderful young ladies they will some day. You guys are doing an awesome job!! As always, give them big hugs and kisses from me and tell Reagan “I Love Her” and I will see her again in a few months ;-) Love you all… Jen www.BarefootSnapshots.com
Up next…. Miss Karys is turning 1 ;-)

OK Mom….. Will try to get them done this weekend… but here is your sneak peak ;-)Â Love you guys… Jen
Hilary: Super cute! love this. I cant wait to do a one year old shoot!
Blade and I took a trip last month to visit my grandma. We had such a wonderful time catching up with all my fabulous aunts, uncles, cousins, and of course my grandma. I took some family portraits while there… Blade was not dressed for the occasion, but he was getting jealous with all the picture taking going on and he was not in the mix….lol

Cathy S.: These are really lovely. I am not on facebook or I would join your fan page.
Jen - Barefoot: Thanks Cathy..... how are the boys ?
I would be thrilled if you guys would please join my fan page on Facebook….. Thanks a bunch !!! Jen

diane: this is BEAUTIFUL, OF COURSE.

I get this same question every week in my inbox… What time should I put on my wedding invitation for the start time of my sunset beach wedding. My personal and professional opinion from my photography style standpoint is about1.5 hours before sunset. This will vary between photographers depending on how they actually handle family and bridal party portraits. I know there are a ton of photographers that want you to allow 1 to 2 hours for family and bridal party portraits after the ceremony. I personally feel that this is crunch time to get these portraits done and out of the way. I don’t like to take over 30 to 45 minutes for all portraits, there is no need to keep your guests waiting over 1 hour for you to arrive at the reception. My personal itinerary for a Pensacola Beach Sunset Wedding would be to finish up at least 15 minutes before sunset:
If the sun is scheduled to set at 6:30 my schedule would look like this:
5:00 - 5:30 ceremony
5:30 - 6:00 family portraits and bridal party portraits
6:00 - 6:15 bride groom portraits
6:15 - 6:30 travel to reception
So from the end of the ceremony to you arriving at the reception is generally around 1 hour.
Yes… I really can get ALL your family portraits and bridal portraits done within 45 minutes. After the ceremony the wedding party and the Bride and Groom are ready to take a breather and get the reception started, so I don’t keep you waiting. The most favorite part of my job is capturing you in a natural state, sharing intimate moments together after the ceremony, guests congratulating you high fives from the wedding party…. The family portraits that follow the ceremony DO NOT FALL into a “Favorites” category…lol But it is something that must be done, I must take endless family portraits, and you must smile for endless family portraits… so why make you stand there any longer than necessary? I have a very tedious guideline that I have followed for many years and have a great approach to getting portraits done efficiently and quickly.
