Katherine and Rick were here vacationing at The Hampton Inn on Pensacola Beach for a company vacation. Every year Katherine’s employer sends everyone here to Pensacola for some fun and some fishing. Needless to say the fishing was canceled due to the oil spill but Katherine was still coming ! Her mom is visiting from China and is almost due to leave and go back home, so I am really glad the vacation was NOW so she could get some pictures with her mom too. You guys check out Precious Mason…. such a doll and a great baby. Had a hard time getting him to smile, he is so serious just about all the time….. But I guess that is what makes him so adorable ;-)

But I did manage to get a smile or two from him ….. I told you he was precious !

Last weekend I had 5 portrait sessions on the books…. and RAIN RAIN RAIN was in the forecast ;( Was able to get 3 sessions done and 2 rescheduled. Thought Whitney’s session was going to be one of the ones that would have to be rescheduled…. the whole way over to Navarre it rained… and when I got to Navarre it was still raining… I just needed 30 minutes… 30 minutes ! Someone must have been listening when I was begging…lol because I got just about 30 minutes ;-) Whitney…. I am so glad it all worked out, and you totally ROCKED your session… and LOVED the outfits you chose for everyone ! FABULOUS :-) and your parents, they are so totally adorable ! Whitney, you are so totally awesome, so down to earth and GORGEOUS… and tell your HOT hubby that I said he needs to smile more….

UMMMM … HELLO…. I told you she was absolutely GORGEOUS !!!!!

I met Crystal OVER a year ago… she wanted to have some family portraits done. I think we have put her appointment on the books at least 4 times since we first spoke. Her hubs works  away from home so it is hard to plan… and it seemed like just as soon as we had it worked out Lil Landon had to go for surgery… but guess what… WE GOT IT DONE !!!!!  YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY   ! It was so so so nice to finally meet you face to face… you and Joe are just adorable together… must be why those boys are SO SWEET !!! okie dokie… the moment you have been waiting for……. PICS !!!!!

I love this family shot… we had a heck of a time getting the boys to concentrate on me… they love airplanes and helicopters and they got an eye full during our session… you would think someone sent all those choppers and planes overhead to sabotage our session….lol  But that’s ok, I can make anything work…lol  ok… need to stop tooting my own horn… makes me sound like I am all that and I am NOT !!!  lol  The boys are adorable… the family pic above just about sums these guys up… they are a happy family … well maybe not the lil one Caden, mom said he is normally a smiler but he was so serious at our session.  Dad said that is his fault, Caden is too serious like him..lol Don’t worry Joe, that can be a good thing !

Crystal specifically asked for a pic of the boys in the foreground and her and Joe in the background… I always try to get what my client wants but I just had a funny feeling that I would not be able to get this for her…. the boys were so busy with everything around them that I knew I might miss that pic… so I told her that she may have to settle for her and Joe in the front with the boys playing in the back… I love how it turned out ;-)  BUT GUESS WHAT…. I DID gert it the other way around too… ;-)  YAY !

But I will be honest, I almost did not get it ;( It was such a quick time frame to work with, the boys were ready to get back down to the water.. so in the original of this pic I cut Joes head off at the ears…lol so I had to put another pic of his head on this pic to make it work ;-) Thank you  PHOTOSHOP !!!!!

Quick sneak peek from my session a couple nights ago ;-) Such sweet little boys !!!

Blade and I took a trip last month to visit my grandma. We had such a wonderful time catching up with all my fabulous aunts, uncles, cousins, and of course my grandma. I took some family portraits while there… Blade was not dressed for the occasion, but he was getting jealous with all the picture taking going on and he was not in the mix….lol

Hannah’s parents wanted to get together for a quick family session in downtown Pensacola… and what a day… PERFECT weather, PERFECT Sunshine, and a PERFECT little Hannah ;-)

I brought the red bucket for Hannah to sit on… she is so on the go that that lasted about 2 seconds…lol but she did want to sit IN IT while dad was holding it… hey whatever works …lol

I think this last one is my favorite… this was the end of the session, Hannah is TIRED OF ME… tired of smiling… her face is wind chapped and pink (so cute) … but I LOVE IT !!!! Meet Shannon, Ray, Kaleigh, Cassidy, & Jakob … aka Shannon’s crew !

Shannon is my middle school BFF… we were tight, inseparable… and then came high school, and unfortunately we went to different high schools ;(  Then “life” happened…lol Luckily we both stayed in Pensacola and kept in touch. Now look at her, she is a gorgeous mom with a super fab family . Her kids are WONDERFUL, I mean really wonderful ! So fun and happy, Shannon you did a super job raising them … you should be super proud of them and yourself !!! OK…. enough rambling, on to the pics…

I think this is one of my all time favorite family pics ;-) Ray intentionally wore his work clothes to the session because he WAS NOT going to be in the pics, but I bet Shannon was smiling ear to ear when she noticed he was going to be wearing a dark gray shirt….lol Gray blends in really nicely with black and white…lol  Sorry Ray !

And YES… it was VERY HARD to get Ray to smile… but so worth the wait… I love this pic of the two of them… so happy….. I wonder what the kids were doing behind me??  lol

This was my 3rd session with Reagan and Karys, and I enjoy each one more than the last . These sisters are so sweet and a true pleasure to work with. You may remember them from before… their mom Cassi is the master seamstress.  She ROCKS a sewing machine like you would not believe . I spoke with her a couple days before the session and she told me that she was going to make the girls matching dresses on Friday night… HELLO… the session was on Saturday morning at 8am !!!  Well enough of my usual jibbering… on to some pics !!!

These are the dresses Mom made the girls… I told you she was super talented !!! I could not help but post the picture on the right..look at the expression on the face of Miss Karys ;-)

I love BOTH of these with Mom and Dad … and those dresses again… I lOVE , love, LoVe them !!!
