Laura and her family were staying at The Indigo in Perdido Key this past week, which she + hubby + Drew do every year. But this year her entire family was able to come… no better time than the present to get family beach portraits done. Terri’s daughter Brooke contacted me about doing some last minute family portraits for them while vacationing in Perdido Key Florida at The La Riva. LAST MINUTE….   Of Course I said yes… who would want to spoil a family vacation by saying NO ;-) NOT ME !!!!!!! So I emailed her back and told her to tell me a little about them, she wrote back and said “I don’t want to scare you away ; ) We have 13 people. It consists of 4 families with a total of 5 kids” SCARE ME??? NEVER !!!!!!! And guess what… the 5 kids were all under the age of 5 ;-)

No worries, it was a piece of cake :)  Here you go… take a look !!

So, I get a call from Todd for family beach portraits out on Pensacola Beach, Todd is on his annual deep sea fishing trip with the family… they are already here and leaving in a couple of days. Donnetta wanted some family beach portraits on their stay and Todd suggested they have a friend take them, he leaves the hotel and when he comes back her computer is on and sitting on my website. He said as soon as he saw the first picture on my website he knew that he was not having a friend take the pictures… there was just no comparison :) Thanks Todd !!!! Donnetta was thrilled that he set all of this up :)  And I am too… I just love my job and adore my clients… especially Donnetta… for those of you that know her then you know what I mean :)

So I get a last minute call from Dale for Family Portraits on the beach… when I say last minute… I mean last minute ! His sister and mother are leaving
Pensacola the NEXT DAY !! No worries… I can move something on my schedule for that afternoon and we can make it happen. Well wait, they may want
to do it in the morning… 7am…oooh boy ! We hang up with them Thinking about their 2 options, while I am at home PRAYING they choose the
afternoon…lol Guess what… The afternoon it is :) Enough of my babbling, I know you want to see the pictures !!! Especially you Wanda :)

So this first one is of Grandma Wanda with all her grandchildren… This one was a special request from her, so said she knew the perfect poem to go with it…

Note from Jen: There are a ton of kiddos that are just so into where they are… they see the beach and are so in tune to everything
around them that they just want to be on their own, and NOT interested in pictures ! That is why I LOVE love LOVE
these “swinging” pictures… what kid does not smile when mom and dad swing them really high?!?!?! I try to capture
the natural smiles and characters of all the kiddos I photograph, yes it is sometimes very challenging, but I eventually will get it !!!
