Courtney + Ian Details

Wedding and Reception at the Pensacola Yacht Club
… this place is absolutely gorgeous… and the food is really really YUMMY !!!

Music / DJ was provided by Ken with A DJ Connection
… Ken is an AWESOME DJ, he keeps the dance floor hoppin and dances with you all night long !

Cake was made by The Cake Shop
… it was absolutely stunning !  They always do a super nice job !

I met with Courtney and her family way back last year while she was in from Jacksonville trying to finalize some wedding
arrangements… I immediately LOVED HER and her family… they are all so close ! Then we met again earlier this year.
Courtney and Ian were in town doing more wedding stuff and visiting family… While Ian was fast asleep Courtney, sister
Candice and I met downtown for a super special top secret session… A portrait session that was “for Ian’s eyes only” as
his wedding gift… ooooooh Courtney was absolutely gorgeous ! She mounted the images in an album for Ian’s wedding
day gift… wait until you see his expression after getting his gift…, pics are below :) OK.. I am going to quit blabbing and
get on to the pictures… Courtney was an AWESOME BRIDE ! She is the life of the party and they both have a great
family and crazy friends… well really their families are pretty crazy too :) Her dad told me the reception would be
crazy… and well… he was right !!!!!!!

Yes… Courtney was just kidding… don’t pay any attention to her… she is ALWAYS like that ;0)

Before the wedding Ian sends over a “love  letter” for Courtney. One problem, he sends it over after she had her makeup put on… she is trying to hold it
together…lol She told me Ian has never really wrote anything like that for her before… Note to Ian: LoveLetters are MAJOR brownie points !!!

groom… I open the door and see THIS !!!  Yep, that is the groom, pain pills in hand;-) I still don’t have the entire story but apparently
the night before the wedding , I think around 4am, Ian hurts his foot… and has to go the the Emergency Room !!!!  I told them Courtney
did not mention that he hurt his foot… and they said “She does not know”…lol WOW, I just can’t believe it !!!!! So when is he going to
tell her?!?!?!?  he says he will tell her AFTER they are married….lol There is just no way she is not going to notice THAT CUT UP SHOE
while she is walking down the aisle….lol    We shall see :-)

Yep… you are seeing things right… the guys wore VANS with their tux’s… AWESOME ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

We don’t normally get to take advantage of this angle… wish we did for EVERY WEDDING :) Nothing better than to see a super
happy Bride and Groom with their friends and family in the background !

Yep, that is a BIG YES with the right arm after she placed the ring on his finger :)  She is so adorable !!!!

The grooms parents ;-) Mom was SMILING during the entire ceremony … but then again, I would be too !

I absolutely ADORE the first moment alone after the ceremony !!!!!

So… As we were starting formal portraits I asked Courtney “when she noticed” she said… “notice What”?
Everyone was just staring at me so I just kept on moving right into formals. We shot just about
all the family portraits and I was going to get a few of the Bride and Groom… I asked Ian
to step up in front of Courtney … he just had this funny look on his face like he knew she was
fixing to find out… boy he sure does know her well… she looks down and just stares …
luckily I had my camera ready… this is what I saw :) Notice how Ian is looking down at his own
foot like “what… what are you talking about?”…lol

Right pic… Ian’s hands… he doing a “ring spin” … so cute :) I caught him doing this several times that day :)

Courtney is so funny….  she just can’t recover from the shock, this pic is AFTER she finds out and we recompose
to go on with the formals… Ian looks relieved that the cat is out of the bag :)

This is my absolute favorite pic of the day… bride in the front, bridesmaids in the front, groomsmen with Ian… and there
it is again… Ian’s RING SPIN :) LOVE love LoVe it !!!!!

on to the reception… Courtney’s parents… super happy as well, I think dad was ready to P-A-R-T-Y !!!!

So these are the hard core party people ! These are the guys that we had to chase off the dance floor at the end of the night !!

So where do the party animals go after the reception? To the beach on a trolley of course !
