Lori and Pete tied the knot at the Pensacola Beach Community Church which of course is located at Pensacola Beach ;-) Pete calls me the day before the wedding to tell me that the church is “under construction” and Lori is understandably “upset” (to say the least). He had not seen the church yet, but said he understood that there were NO entryways that were not under some type of construction…. I told him not to worry, I can work around it (or use it…lol, but I did not tell him this yet…).

We arrive at the church about 30 minutes early to scope out the damage… and yeah, it was pretty bad. Scaffolding EVERYWHERE, tools, equipment, plastic, dirt… Everything was unfinished in some way or another. Inside was fine… until Tom noticed that the mens bathroom was Flooded !!! almost every stall was inches deep with water, and there was no one at the church to assist us. So, with no mens bathroom the construction started to quickly become a crisis ;(  I was outside trying to find a place to do some portraits and someone pulled up trying to quickly clean things… I told him about the bathroom and he said it was the air conditioning…  long story short he was cleaning right until the actual wedding started…

BUT… who cares anything about the building right?!?!?!?  We have a bride, we have a groom, and we have TONS of family and friends that traveled many miles to get here… SO let’s get on with the beautiful wedding !  yep, I am gonna be quiet for a bit to show you some pics ;-)

Yep, yellow and blue are Lori’s wedding colors… the girls are super cute in the outfits Lori bought them :)

I could not resist using the scaffolding just a little bit… it was a big part of their wedding day !

This might be my favorite from the day… Pete waiting to get to the altar :)

Pete is such a sweetie ;-) You can tell that he totally adores Lori !!

OK… Trolley story: Lori and Pete get a trolley to carry the bridal party from the wedding on Pensacola Beach to The Angus for the reception.
The trolley pulls up outside and Lori says” LOOK It is yellow and blue” and no I can’t believe it either, to get a trolley
that is painted the same color scheme as your wedding has got to be the COOLEST thing ever :)
